Gift Guide #3: Something to WearMonday, December 07, 2015
Happy Monday! Today I'm sharing the third gift guide that follows the golden rule for gift shopping: Something they want, something they need, something to wear, something to read. This one focuses on some fun pieces to wear this winter. Clothes can be a bit tricky to gift since we all wear different sizes and different styles, but I've tried to pull together some things that will fit a few different styles, plus some classic pieces that anyone could pull off.
Trucker hat / For hikes, adventures, and days when she's too tired to wash her hair. I love this one from Holdfast Outfitters.
Minimal watch / Have you noticed how we've stopped wearing watches ever since our cell phones and fitness trackers took over? This one looks oh-so fancy.
Plaid tights / Isn't the grid pattern on this pair the cutest? I think they would look awesome with a pencil skirt and some ankle boots.
Leggings / These leggings are some of the comfiest I've ever worn. A thick pair of socks & a cozy sweater and you've got a recipe for the perfect night in.
Gift card / Sometimes they can feel like a cop-out, but a gift card to her favorite store is never a bad idea. We'll all take a shopping spree mid-January.
Leather ankle boots / If you feel like splurging a little, you can't go wrong with a pair of leather ankle boots. They go with everything.
Oversized sweater / The good thing with sweaters like this is you don't really have to worry about fit -- the bigger and drapey-er, the better. This mohair blend sweater would look great with a simple outfit like jeans and a t-shirt.
