Exploring Atlanta / The Merchant

The Merchant Atlanta was another gem I stumbled upon in Instagram land and added to my must-visit-in-Atlanta list. A few Sundays ago, we made the trek down 85 to explore Krog Street Market and stroll the BeltLine (still easily one of my favorite spots in Atlanta).

The Merchant was everything I hoped it would be and I now know where I'll be buying every birthday/Christmas gift from here on out. There were so many cute things! Mark was sold on the coffee table book Cabin Porn, while I strolled back and forth in front of the cash register trying to decide which portrait I would hang in my one-day house. That fisherman painting was high on the list.

Right next door is Krog Street Market, which houses a number of restaurants and smaller boutique-type stores that sell things like candles, soaps, and cheeses. There's not a lot of shopping options there (besides The Merchant) but it is right beside the Beltline, so if you feel like a walk, you can hike it on down to Ponce City Market and shop your heart out!
