honeymoonin' at the met

We really didn't plan on going through any museums while in NYC, although the rain exhibit at MOMA did sound awesome. One day as we were leaving Central Park we exited right at the Met and decided to go in for a few minutes (mainly for the AC). I had heard good reviews about the Met's Rooftop Cafe but, unfortunately, they closed the elevators down at 4:30 and we arrived at 4:35. Instead, we walked around the ground level for awhile until we had our fill of naked, beheaded statues. There was an exhibit on Civil War photographs which was a little interesting, but there's only so many pictures of uniformed, bearded men that one can look at before growing a bit weary.

Obviously, we aren't very big history buffs.
